4CEE is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The integrity of your personal data is vital to 4CEE and its group of subsidiaries, which is why we welcome the additional transparency and protection of your personal data required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We outline what types of personal data we collect from you, why, and what happens to your data while you are in our care. We also explain what your rights are under the GDPR and provide contact information in case you have questions or requests about your data.
Regarding retention periods, we store personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of this privacy statement, unless a longer retention period is required for legitimate reasons, required by law or as necessary to justify or defend a legal claim.
If you consent to the use of your data, you may withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop using your data. Your withdrawal of consent rights and the specific retention periods will be provided to you in the information where we first collected your personal data.
Website visit data
Like most companies, 4CEE collects non-personal (anonymous) information, such as web browser type, language preferences, website origin, and date and time of website visit. 4CEE does this to better understand usage patterns and, where necessary, optimize its website.
Use of Personal Data
4CEE may ask you for some information. This is only done when necessary. For example, if you wish to activate a (paid) service, 4CEE will ask you for data such as company name, phone number, (email) address, trade register number, et cetera. This data is necessary for 4CEE to process your request or order.
4CEE shares the database in which your data is stored with its subsidiaries Coforce bv, Diesis bv, Easy Systems bv, ICreative bv, Stiply bv and Quintensis bv. These companies all use the same security measures that 4CEE uses and also operate in accordance with the AVG.
This data is not used by the various subsidiary companies for marketing and promotional purposes. For example, if you have subscribed to a newsletter from Stiply, you will not receive mailings from the other subsidiaries in the group unless you have specifically signed up for this (see also "Email opt-in").
Provision to Google Ads
Transparency is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, we clearly inform you in our privacy policy that we only share your data with Google Ads for ad measurement services performed on our behalf. We always seek your consent for such data sharing and use when required by law.
We strictly comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including data and privacy protection laws. We fully comply with Google's EU user consent policy as it applies to our services.
Data that you provide to us and that we upload to Google Ads is processed according to the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. We fully comply with Google's EU User Consent Policy as it applies to our services.
We do not upload data that is prohibited by law, such as information about minors. We do not upload conversion data related to sensitive categories. We use only the Google-approved API or interface for uploading customer data, ensuring that your data is always handled securely and responsibly. The Google-approved API uses a secure, one-way hashing algorithm called SHA256 before sending data to Google.
Disclosure to third parties
4CEE makes best efforts to protect the confidentiality of personal data, preferences and other information collected through its website. To this end, 4CEE has made substantial investments in its server, database, backup and "firewall" technology.
Personal data that you provide to 4CEE will be carefully processed and secured by 4CEE. 4CEE onlyshares your data with third parties when you give permission to do so, with the exception of Google Ads, unless 4CEE is required to do so by law, regulation, court order or by order of another governmental body.
You have the option to view, change or delete your personal data at any time. In that case, please contact us at Info@4cee.com. To prevent misuse, 4CEE may ask you to provide adequate identification. When it comes to accessing personal data linked to a cookie, you should enclose a copy of the cookie in question.
4CEE will not retain your data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and processed.
Cookie policy
We use cookies on the various 4CEE websites. A cookie is a small file sent by an Internet server that installs itself on your computer's hard drive. This file keeps track of the Internet site visited and contains some information about this visit.
4CEE uses direct and indirect cookies, also known as first- and third-party cookies.
First-party cookies
Functional and technical cookies.
Technical cookies are cookies necessary for 4CEE's websites to function, for you to log in (in the case of the partner portal) or create an account, and to detect fraud with your account. Functional cookies remember your preferences.
Google Analytics (tracking cookies).
Through 4CEE's various websites, a cookie is set by the company Google, as part of its "Analytics" service. 4CEE uses this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This information is collected anonymously.
Google may provide this usage information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or to the extent that third parties process the information on Google's behalf. 4CEE has no influence on this. The information Google collects is anonymized as much as possible. The IP address is expressly not provided.
The information is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Safe Harbor principles and is affiliated with the Safe Harbor program of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.
HubSpot
Hubspot is a software service that uses cookies to retrieve information from our website user (analytical cookies). These are included in, for example, electronic communications, forms and downloads.
4CEE uses this information to analyze trends, track website user behavior and gather demographic data about the user base as a whole. Personal information and associated behavior is only stored when you complete a form. We store this data in a personal and secure environment.
Hubspot adheres to the Privacy Shield Framework (EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks) and does not transfer EU information to countries that have a less adequate level of protection These agreements are contained in the SCCs established with Hubspot. There is also a processor agreement with Hubspot on the use of the data.
Clarity
Clarity is a software service that uses cookies to track user behavior on the website for marketing purposes. This software starts tracking after accepting the cookie and collects information on an anonymous basis only. Clarity processes the information within Europe and has SCCs. Clarity's processor agreement can be read here.
Clickcease
Clickcease is a filtering service linked to Google Ads. This software tracks a website visitor's behavior. The purpose of this software is to separate "wrong" from "right" visitors. Conditions can be set when a website visitor is marked as "wrong. This filtering takes place after detection by IP address and is processed in Google Ads, to prevent (unwanted) seeing new ad displays. Clickcease processes this data temporarily in the US on Azure servers and are in the process of transitioning to European servers from Azure. SCCs have been concluded for the Azure servers. Clickcease an Israeli company. Israel falls under the countries with adequate security level according to GDPR. See Clickcease's processor agreement here
Leadinfo
We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The tool recognizes company visits to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo places two first-party cookies, to evaluate user behavior on our website and the tool processes domains from form entries (e.g., "Leadinfo.com") to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services. Third-party cookies
Third-party cookies are used to record browsing behavior, history and user preferences. You can think about the placement of external advertisements by an advertising network, collection of information for measuring and analyzing visitor behavior or integration of social media channels and features.
4CEE places these cookies on your computer to prevent you from seeing a particular ad too often and to record the number of times an ad is displayed. These cookies are not associated with any profile about you.

Social Media
4CEE websites include buttons to promote ("like") or share ("tweet") web pages on social networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. Some of these buttons work with pieces of code that come from LinkedIn itself respectively. Cookies are placed via this code. 4CEE has no influence on this. In the privacy statement of LinkedIn (which regularly change) is what they do with your (personal) data they process through these cookies.
The information they collect is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by LinkedIn on servers in the United States. LinkedIn states that it adheres to the EU level of protection. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data. All information is described in LinkedIN's processor agreement.
Opting out of cookies

E-mail notifications
As a customer of 4CEE, you are automatically signed up to receive email notifications. For example, 4CEE sends email notifications as part of the registration process, when documents are available to you, or as a reminder of scheduled activities. 4CEE also sends newsletters to all users to inform them about new products, services or, for example, software updates.
Email opt-in
As a visitor to a 4CEE website, you will only receive e-mail notifications if you have actively opted in. This means that you have signed up for the newsletter, or that you have downloaded a specific document and have actively checked the box to receive informative e-mails from us at a certain frequency. This opt-in is always company-specific.
E-mail opt-out
In every e-mail notification sent to you, you will find a "manage preference" link at the bottom (with the exception of customer e-mail notifications sent during the registration process). This link allows you to manage your email preferences and opt-in or opt-out of specific email notifications.
