General

4CEE is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The integrity of your personal data is vital to 4CEE and its group of subsidiaries, and we therefore welcome the additional transparency and protection of your personal data required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We will outline the types of personal data we collect from you, why, and what happens to your data while you are in our care. We also explain your rights under the GDPR and provide you with contact information in case you have any questions or requests about your data.

As far as retention periods are concerned, we only store personal data as long as is necessary to comply with the purposes of this privacy statement, unless a longer retention period is required for legitimate reasons, required by law or necessary to justify or defend a legal claim.

If you consent to the use of your data, you may withdraw this consent at any time and we will stop using your data. Your rights to withdraw consent and the specific retention periods will be provided to you in the information where we first collected your personal data.

Details of website visit

Like most companies, 4CEE also collects non-personal (anonymous) information, such as the type of web browser, the language preferences, the originating website and the date and time of the website visit. 4CEE does this in order to better understand usage patterns and optimise its website where necessary.

Use of personal data

4CEE may ask you for a few details. This only happens when this is necessary. For example, if you wish to activate a (paid) service, 4CEE will ask you for details such as company name, telephone number, (e-mail) address, trade register registration number, etc. This data is necessary for 4CEE to process your request or order.

4CEE shares the database in which your data is stored with its subsidiaries Coforce bv, Diesis bv, Easy Systems bv, ICreative bv and Stiply bv. These companies all use the same security measures adopted by 4CEE and also work in accordance with the GDPR.

This data is not used by the various subsidiaries for marketing and promotional purposes. For example, if you have subscribed to a newsletter from Easy Systems, you will not receive mailings from the other group subsidiaries unless you have specifically registered for this (see also "E-mail opt-in").

Sharing with third parties

4CEE makes every effort to protect the confidentiality of personal data, preferences and other information collected through its website. To this end, 4CEE has made substantial investments in its server, database, backup and firewall technology.

Personal data that you provide to 4CEE will be processed and protected by 4CEE with due care. 4CEE will not share this information with third parties without your consent, unless 4CEE is required to do so by law, regulation, court order or by decision of another public authority.

You have the option of accessing, changing or deleting your personal data at any time. In that case you should contact us at info@4cee.com. To prevent abuse, 4CEE may ask you to identify you adequately. When it involves accessing personal data linked to a cookie, you must also send a copy of the cookie in question.

4CEE will not retain your data for any longer than is required for the purposes for which it was collected and processed.

Cookie Policy

We use cookies on the various websites of 4CEE. A cookie is a small file that is sent by an Internet server and that is stored on your computer's hard disk. This file keeps track of the website visited and contains a variety of data about this visit.

4CEE uses direct and indirect cookies, also known as first party and third party cookies.

First party cookies

Functional and technical cookies
Technical cookies are cookies that are required to enable the websites of 4CEE to function, to log in (in the case of the partner portal) or create an account, and to detect fraud involving your account. Functional cookies remember your preferences.

Google Analytics (tracking cookies)
A cookie from the Google company is placed as part of the ‘Analytics’ service on the various websites of 4CEE. 4CEE uses this service to keep track of and get reports about how visitors use the website.

Google may share this information with third parties if Google is required to do so by law, or insofar as third parties process the information on Google's behalf. 4CEE has no influence over this. The information collected by Google is anonymized as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not included.

The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google asserts that it complies with the Safe Harbor principles and is a member of the Safe Harbor programme of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

HubSpot
HubSpot is a software service that uses cookies to retrieve information about our website user (analytic cookies). These are included in electronic communications, forms and downloads, amongst others.

4CEE uses this information to analyse trends, track behaviour of website users and collect demographic data about the user base as a whole. We store this data in a personal and secure environment.

HubSpot complies with the U.S. Privacy Shield framework (EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks). For more information about this software, please refer to HubSpot's privacy statement.

Third-party cookies

Third party cookies are used to record surfing behaviour, history and user preferences. This can include an advertising network placing external advertisements, collecting information for measuring and analysing visitor behaviour, or integrating social media channels and functions.

4CEE places these cookies on your computer to prevent you from seeing a particular advertisement too often and to record the number of times that an advertisement is displayed. These cookies are not linked to a profile relating to you.

Social Media

4CEE websites include buttons to promote (“like”) or share ("tweet") web pages on social networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. These buttons work with pieces of code that originate from LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook respectively. This code is used to place cookies. 4CEE has no influence over this. The privacy statements of LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook respectively (which change regularly) set out what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies.

The information they collect is anonymised as much as possible. The information is transferred to and by LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook and stored by them on servers in the United States. LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook assert that they comply with the Safe Harbor principles and are members of the Safe Harbor programme of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Blocking cookies

If you want to enable or disable cookies or change your settings, this can be done via the settings in your browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Mozilla or Chrome).

More information about how to enable and disable and delete cookies can be found in the instructions and/or using your browser's Help function. These differ for each browser. You can choose to activate the 'do not track' functionality in your browser.

E-mail notifications

As a customer of 4CEE, you are automatically registered to receive e-mail notifications. For example, 4CEE sends e-mail notifications as part of the registration process, if there are documents available for you or as a reminder of scheduled activities. 4CEE also sends newsletters to all users to inform them about new products, services or software updates, for example.

E-mail opt-in

As a visitor of a 4CEE website, you will only receive e-mail notifications if you have actively signed up for this. This means that you have signed up for the newsletter or that you have downloaded a specific document and have actively ticked the option of receiving informative e-mails from us on a regular basis.

E-mail opt-out

In every e-mail notification sent to you, you will find a ‘manage preferences’ link at the bottom (with the exception of the e-mail notifications for customers sent during the registration process). This link enables you to manage your e-mail preferences and subscribe to or unsubscribe from specific e-mail notifications.

Amendments to the privacy policy

4CEE has the right to amend the privacy policy without prior notice if this is deemed necessary. It is therefore advisable to review 4CEE's privacy policy on a regular basis.

On request we will grant visitors to our websites access to any information that we hold about them and the opportunity to correct any incorrect data we hold about them. If you wish to do this or want to comment on our privacy policy in any other way, please contact us at info@4cee.com.

We trust that this has provided you with sufficient information.
